🌰 Amla – Phyllanthus emblica (Emblica officinalis)

Origin: India and Southeast Asia.

Main compounds: Vitamin C, tannins (emblicanin A and B), polyphenols, flavonoids, and minerals.

Hair benefits:
• Strengthens hair follicles and stimulates growth thanks to its high antioxidant content.
• Prevents premature graying by protecting hair cells from oxidative stress.
• Adds shine and softness without altering the natural color.

Scientific evidence:
Studies such as the one published in Pharmacognosy Research (2012) showed that Amla extract significantly increases follicle cell proliferation and extends the anagen (growth) phase of the hair.
